AquaPark io

AquaPark io is a water-slide race in which your character travels down a winding course alongside other racers. The aim is to reach the pool first while dealing with the route, obstacles and nearby competitors. This DRA version also lets you attempt a shortcut by leaving the slide and trying to land on a section farther down.

Guide the rider through the bends

Use the left and right arrow keys to direct the character. Start with modest adjustments and watch the next curve before the rider reaches it. The slide keeps the race moving forward, so concentrate on choosing a manageable line rather than waiting until an obstacle is directly in front of you.

Other racers can push you from the course, and contact can also send an opponent off the slide. Before moving close to another character, consider the edge on that side and the direction of the approaching bend. A passing attempt is more useful when you still have a route to follow afterward.

Judge a shortcut by its landing

Jumping away from the slide can reduce the distance, but the landing matters as much as leaving the track. Look for the section you intend to rejoin and consider whether the risk is worthwhile in your current position. An ambitious leap that misses the course can end an otherwise promising run.

For a different continuous-movement challenge, Slope City puts the steering focus on a rolling ball crossing elevated tracks.
