Rainbow Obby

Rainbow Obby is a colourful obstacle-platforming game about directing a character through a route of platforms and gaps. The documented desktop controls are WASD to move, Space to jump and the mouse to adjust the camera. Mobile instructions describe movement and camera joysticks with a jump button.

Establish the view and choose a landing

Identify where the character is standing and the next visible surface you want to reach. Adjust the camera to understand the approach before making the jump. A useful landing also leaves a continuation you can interpret, so look a little beyond the immediate destination when the course is visible enough.

If an attempt misses, distinguish the starting position, movement direction and jump decision. Changing one uncertain part makes the next result easier to understand. Reassess from the character's actual position after a landing instead of assuming it matched the intended spot exactly.
