Vex 3

Vex 3 turns a stickman's route to the finish into a sequence of movement and timing problems. Run, jump, and slide around hazardous obstacles, then reach the end of each level to continue. The third Vex adventure rewards careful observation of a course as much as quick reactions once you are moving through it.

Read the obstacle before moving

Use WASD or the arrow keys to move your character. Follow the on-screen movement prompts as new situations appear, and look beyond the next landing point before committing to a jump. A successful first move is less useful if it leaves you with no safe way to handle the following obstacle.

Work on a troublesome section as a short sequence. Identify where the movement starts, where you need to land, and which hazard determines the timing. On another attempt, change the part that caused the mistake rather than rushing through the entire section again. Consistent movement gives you a better basis for improving your route.

Continue the Vex challenge

The aim is to complete the course, with running, jumping, and sliding serving different parts of the route. Once you want another set of platforming obstacles, Vex 5 continues the series with its own stages. Learn the new routes on their own terms instead of assuming every obstacle follows the same timing as Vex 3.
