Vex 5

Vex 5 is a two-dimensional platform challenge in which careful movement matters as much as quick reactions. Work through levels filled with traps, judge the space between safe surfaces and learn a route that you can repeat. The fifth installment adds new levels and achievements, giving you reasons to return after an initial clear.

Movement and restarts

Use WASD or the arrow keys to move, and R to restart a level. Follow the game's own prompts when a movement situation is introduced. Begin by learning how far your inputs carry the character before trying to combine several difficult crossings.

Plan the landing

Look beyond the nearest edge and choose a destination with room to recover. Observe a moving trap from safe ground, then leave when the whole crossing is usable. If an attempt fails, change one action: the starting position, departure cue or length of the directional press.
