Pick the mode before planning the drive

Use the documented driving controls

The publisher lists WASD or the arrow keys for controlling the car. Learn their response before attempting a narrow gap between vehicles. Review the route after an attempt

The results screen separates distance, speeding, close overtakes, opposite-lane time and mission completion. These are different parts of the result: recording distance does not necessarily mean the timed objective was completed. Use the failed objective to decide what to practise on the next attempt, rather than chasing every possible score category immediately.
